The tracheal lymph nodes are a collection of nodes which run superiorly along the lateral sides of the trachea just anterior to the oesophagus. They extend into the superior mediastinum and are continuous with the tracheobronchial nodes which lie inferiorly.

The tracheal nodes send their efferent lymphatic fibres to the bronchomediastinal lymph trunks.
