Interfoveolar ligament

The interfoveolar ligament is a fibromuscular reiforcement of the lateral end of the posterior wall of the inguinal canal. These fibres are derived from the transversus abdominis muscle. They have a crescentic orientation around the medial edge of the deep ring.
