Finger clubbing and hypertrophic osteoarthropathy are seen in about 10% of patients with bronchogenic carcinoma.

Finger clubbing is a non-specific sign, being associated with liver, suppurative lung disease, ulcerative colitis etc.

Hypertrophic osteoarthropathy is seldom seen in non-cancer patients.
