This is a net-like subcutaneous rash that may be seen in conditions such as:

  • systemic lupus erythematosus
  • rheumatoid arthritis
  • polyarteritis nodosa
  • the antiphospholipid syndrome
  • homocystinuria
  • dermatomyositis
  • cholesterol emboli syndrome

Livedo reticularis is most commonly seen on the lower limbs.
